Zoetry Casa del Mar in Cabo

Marty and I are on yet another adventure in Mexico. We arrived Sunday, the fifth of May or cinco de mayo. It is stunning here!

Here are a few pics from the courtyard in the front lobby and the pool.

One of the things I love about Cabo is the weather. It is perfect for me. Hot & dry! It only rains a few days a year in Cabo. Although the Caribbean Sea is beautiful, the more tropical climate in cancun and the Riviera Maya area bring frequent rain showers. Although they don't usually last long, they tend to make it a little bit cooler in the winter months.

Yoga on the pier.....again

Day two of our trip to the Zoetry in Mexico near Cancun & the weather is fabulous!

This resort focuses on wellness & I am here teaching yoga. This morning I met my class in our usual spot but the sprinkler system was on so we moved to the pier. It was a little windy but very enjoyable. I had a great class of six students of different yoga experience and levels. We struggled with our mats in the wind a little but had a great practice.

This afternoon Marty& I are going to the spa to try a Thelasso water therapy treatment. Should be interesting. I will keep you posted.

Beach & pool

What a relaxing place to be. Beautiful pool & beach. I'll attach a few pics & write more tomorrow.

Zoetry

9:30 am Marty & I are sitting at gate 85 at I I waiting to board our non-stop flight to Cancun. When we arrive, we will take a taxi to puerto Morelos, which is in the Riviera Maya area, about 20 minutes South of Cancun. We will be staying at the Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita.

8:38 pm Well we arrived. Great flight & Maximo from the Zoetry picked us up in a Lincoln Navigator. He had cool wash clothes that he handed us with tongs & sparkling wine. Oh yea! You know you are staying at a nice resort when there are cool washcloths involved.

It is beautiful. The resort & room are outstanding. There is a full moon over the Caribbean ocean tonight but I guess I need to take a photography class because it is blurry.

Beaches

I'm having a little trouble with my blogs but I wanted to posts some pics of the beaches from our cruise so here they are.

Day 1 of Southern Caribbean Cruise

On December 1st, Marty & I flew to San Juan Puerto Rico for a cruise of the Southern Caribbean on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas.  Our cruise did not depart until December 2nd, but we wanted to spend a day in San Juan because we hadn't been there before.

Our flight was uneventful and we arrived in San Juan at about 5 p.m.  We took a cab to our hotel, La Concha Renaissance.
